About JACES

The Journal of Applied Computing for Emerging Systems (JACES) publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and applied research that advance innovative computing solutions for emerging systems and technologies. The journal is dedicated to the design, development, integration, and evaluation of applied computing approaches that address real-world challenges in rapidly evolving technological environments.

The journal prioritizes applied and translational research over purely theoret ical contributions, with particular emphasis on solutions that demonstrate practical relevance, real-world validation, scalability, and measurable impact. The journal seeks contributions that address emerging systems characterized by complexity, dynamism, and resource constraints, including but not limited to smart environments, digital platforms, intelligent infrastructures, and next-generation computing ecosystems.

Aims and Scope

Aims

JACES aims to:

  • Advance innovative computing solutions for emerging systems and technologies.

  • Address real-world challenges in rapidly evolving technological environments.

  • Bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical, deployable applications.

  • Support interdisciplinary solutions across various sectors (healthcare, education, agriculture, governance, etc.).

Scope

The journal seeks contributions addressing smart environments, digital platforms, intelligent infrastructures, and next-generation computing ecosystems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for emerging and real-world applications

  • Data Science, Big Data Analytics, and Intelligent Decision Support Systems

  • Cybersecurity, Privacy, Digital Trust, and Digital Forensics in emerging systems

  • Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Systems, and Cyber-Physical Systems

  • Software Engineering, Intelligent Software Systems, and Scalable Digital Platforms

  • Embedded Systems and Hardware–Software Co-Design

  • Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) and Human-Centered Technologies

  • Computing applications in healthcare, education, agriculture, governance, and community development

  • Efficient and scalable computing for modern and emerging infrastructures

  • Digital technologies for emerging economies and resource-constrained environments

Publication Model

JACRI follows an annual publication cycle and adopts a double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and quality.
